Imaging Solutions is proud to be a Silver Sponsor and exhibitor at the ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026, taking place in Auckland from May 1st to May 5th. As a long-standing partner to medical imaging professionals across Australia and New Zealand, we are pleased to support an event that plays a vital role in advancing anaesthesia and pain medicine throughout the region.

In modern healthcare environments, patients seek care and healing while healthcare professionals guide them safely through critical moments in their journey. Within this shared environment, trust and safety, and collaboration are essential. Imaging Solutions welcomes the opportunity to directly engage with the professionals who work every day to ensure patients receive safe, high-quality treatment in complex clinical environments.

At booth 56, Imaging Solutions will be showcasing our MRI-compatible anaesthetic and patient monitoring technologies which are designed to support clinicians and help ensure that patients undergoing MRI procedures remain safe, stable, and well monitored throughout their care.

As MRI continues to play an increasingly central role in diagnostic and interventional procedures, the need for fully MRI compatible anaesthesia and patient monitoring equipment has become critical in modern perioperative and critical care environments as more patients require imaging under sedation or anaesthesia. Providing anaesthesia in an MRI suite presents unique challenges. Equipment must function safely within strong magnetic fields and high-energy radio frequencies while maintaining the same standards of accuracy, reliability, and patient monitoring expected in operating theatres or intensive care units.

Standard equipment can pose risks in MRI environments, including projectile hazards, electromagnetic interference, RF-induced heating, and image artefacts. MRI-compatible systems must therefore be purpose-built to overcome these environmental constraints while ensuring continuous anaesthesia delivery, ventilation, and patient monitoring during imaging procedures. Imaging Solutions focuses on bringing advanced technologies to Australia and New Zealand that meet these demanding requirements while integrating seamlessly into hospital workflows.

Supporting Clinicians with Reliable Anaesthesia Technology

The Leon MRI Anaesthesia Workstation from Löwenstein Medical is a purpose-built anaesthesia workstation designed for safe and effective operation in MRI environments up to 3.0 Tesla. Engineered specifically for the MRI suite, the Leon MRI delivers full anaesthesia functionality without compromising clinical performance, making it suitable for both routine procedures and high-acuity cases, including paediatric and neonatal patients.

Key features include:

  • MRI Compatibility – Designed for 1.5T and 3.0T MRI systems, with an integrated tesla monitor to ensure correct device positioning and additional peace of mind.
  • Advanced Ventilation Modes – Including IMV, SIMV, PCV, PSV, and manual spontaneous ventilation, supporting patients across a wide range of clinical needs with varying acuity and age.
  • Absorber System – Allows CO2 absorber replacement during operation, helping maintain workflow continuity.
  • Enhanced Safety Features – LED status indicators visible from all angles, central braking for secure positioning, and compatibility with remote displays outside the MRI room.
  • User-Centric Interface – A 12-inch touchscreen providing clear navigation and quick access to ventilation settings and alarms that simplifies navigation and procedures.

These capabilities make the Leon MRI a comprehensive solution for delivering anaesthesia in environments where precision and safety are essential while allowing the anaesthesia teams to maintain their focus on patient wellbeing throughout their imaging procedures.

Expression MR400 Patient Monitoring System

Continuous patient monitoring during MRI procedures is critical, particularly when managing sedated, ventilated, or high-risk patients. The Expression MR400 Patient Monitoring System from Philips Healthcare is a specialised MRI-compatible monitoring system designed to deliver bedside-quality monitoring directly within the MRI suite.

The system supports a comprehensive range of monitoring parameters, including:

  • Wireless ECG
  • SpO2
  • Non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP)
  • End-tidal CO2 (ETCO₂)
  • Invasive blood pressure (IBP)
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Anaesthetic agent monitoring

Additional features include a high-resolution touchscreen display, configurable alarms for rapid clinical awareness, wireless connectivity, and automated case management designed to improve workflow efficiency. By enabling reliable monitoring throughout the imaging process, the Expression MR400 helps maintain continuity of care from patient arrival through to recovery.

Visit Imaging Solutions at Booth 56

Delegates attending the ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 are invited to visit Booth 56 to learn more about how MRI-compatible anaesthesia and monitoring technologies can support patient safety within the imaging environment.
Our team will be available to discuss clinical applications, workflow integration, and the ways in which specialised MRI equipment can help healthcare teams deliver safe, reliable care for patients undergoing imaging procedures.

With over 25 years of experience supporting the medical imaging community, Imaging Solutions remains committed to helping clinicians create safer environments for both patients and staff.

We look forward to connecting with you in Auckland.
