This 40 cm x 50 cm shield uses 0.5 mm equivalent lead acrylic (@150 kV) for effective protection to the upper body. The central mount system allows 360
degree rotation ensuring the shield’s corner cut-out can be effectively positioned over a patient, and can be optionally fitted with a 0.5 mm Pb equivalent flexible curtain which can be added to further reduce scatter.
- Material: transparent lead acrylic, lead equivalent 0.5 mm.
- Portrait orientation, but central ball and socket joint provides rotational and tilting movement.
