RADprotect™ Splash Drapes

Designed to fit popular models of personal radiation shields, the RADprotect™ splash drapes are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes. The splash drapes are used extensively in areas which are designated as sterile environments and typically include theatres, catheter labs, hybrid areas, and radiology centres.

Splash drapes have proven to be extremely useful for protecting over-table and under-table radiation shields. The radiation shields are supplied in a wide range of shapes and sizes to suit individual OEM beds and surgeon configuration preferences, which are routinely near both the patients and surgeons during procedures. By utilizing the plastic splash drapes, the risk of exposure to potential contamination is reduced.

Portable radiation shields can also be protected as they are also regularly utilised in the interventionalist environments and near interventionalist activity when used by scout nurses and other in-room technologists and clinicians involved in procedures.

Available in multiple sizes and made of 37µm recyclable LDPE the splash drapes are sterilised via irradiation treatment to AS4187 specifications to ensure optimum protection.

The table below is a list of Imaging Solutions current RADprotect™ splash drapes available, the dimensions and sku codes. Imaging Solutions has developed these specific range of plastic splash drapes to accommodate for standard radiation protection shields found commonly in hospitals. The various sizes have been developed to fit over a range of standard rectangle radiation shields as shown in the tables below, with more design being made available soon to fit contoured models, overhead shields, and ceiling mounted plates.
