The Protect-A-Grid® 2 with Channels Encasement is an all-enclosed fabrication designed to reduce the chance of incidental grid damage from atypical handling. With sleek curved corners, Protect-A-Grid encasements can be easily slid under patients and/or stood upright for cross-table examinations. The aluminum style with channels allows the image receptor to slide on and off the grid with ease, creating a lighter weight device with great protection at a lower cost.
