ETIAM Print-in makes it simple to convert documents to DICOM format and send all types of printable digital files (PDF, Word, JPEG, etc.) to the PACS. The software installs on any computer terminal—secretary, radiologist, physician—and acts like a virtual printer.
Getting started with ETIAM Print-in requires minimal user training. It’s the ideal universal solution for integrating medical documents such as radiology, ophthalmology, surgery, and cardiology reports. With ETIAM Print-in, you can link imaging studies with supporting documents and view them simultaneously. It also enables easy integration of reports on image CDs.
1. Select the ‘‘ETIAM Print-in’’ printer.
2. Select patient information from the HIS (DICOM Worklist) or from a study archived in the PACS.
3. Validate. ETIAM Print-in converts the documents into DICOM and sends them to the PACS.
